Hey guys, Random coin for you today, $1 Morgan coin here. I'll get more pics if necessary. But I am just wondering if this is a listed error (haven't picked up the Red Book yet) The end lock of her hair is missing. I'll post a normal 1878 with her hair in full then the error I found. Really fun looking for errors, just never know what you will find. Any thoughts on this coin would be wonderful. Thank you for your time. Pocket_change
I assume that it is an 1878-P. The Red Book won't help you. You need to check your coin against the listings on VAMWorld. http://www.vamworld.com/1878-P+VAMs All Morgan and Peace Dollars are VAM's. This is the only real way you will learn. Chris
