Another of today's finds,Now usually I don't buy or collect damaged coins...there's an exception to the rule a neat variety. This next coin is such a coin. an 1854 Misplaced date V-1 Breen 3069 MPD in base of the rock. Now here's another tid bit...this truly isn't a MPD. as there's only 1 set of digits visible. However since the primary digits are extended into the base of the rock it's included in this category. A $20 coin if not damaged well over $100 in the condition less the damage.
An 1937 P Buffalo out of the half price box @ $5 and a sweet 1946 S/S RPM-005 Washington Quarter found in the same box @ $6. No brainier Right?
All of these were less than $50. 1864 CN - $49 PCGS graded it MS63 1880 - $38 PCGS graded it MS63BN 1884 - $51 ($46 + $5 shipping) PCGS graded it MS64BN 1900 - $46 PCGS graded it MS64BN 1903 - $40 PCGS graded it MS64RB 1909 - $50 PCGS graded it MS64RD For fun, I submitted one of my neighbors Morgan dollars in this submission. Its an 1881s that graded MS65PL. He paid less than $5 for it 50+ years ago. I think he did the best of these. This was a pretty good submission, but I was a little disappointed that the 1884 and 1900 didn't get a 65.
This was $5.55 FREE. from Toll Road change. ..I Don't know how it got there ....Awesome to find anything other than a 2000 Sacramento 20.00
Here's a few of my recent acquisitions under the $50.00 mark. These were all picked up on the same day from the same dealer. 1970-D Washington Quarter $45.00 197?-D Lincoln Cent $8.00 I liked the color on this one. I've decided to put together a 1964 dated clipped planchet set. I now have all denominations except for the quarter. 1964-D Lincoln Cent $3.00 1964-D Jefferson Nickel $8.00 1964-D Roosevelt Dime $8.00
