Another of today's finds,Now usually I don't buy or collect damaged coins...there's an exception to the rule a neat variety. This next coin is such a coin. an 1854 Misplaced date V-1 Breen 3069 MPD in base of the rock.
Now here's another tid bit...this truly isn't a MPD. as there's only 1 set of digits visible. However since the primary digits are extended into the base of the rock it's included in this category.
A $20 coin if not damaged well over $100 in the condition less the damage.

Ahh... back in the good ol' days when Littleton was not price gouging unsuspecting collectors...

 

No they had other ways of ripping you off.
Such as mailing you out coins on approval .

 

An 1937 P Buffalo out of the half price box @ $5 and a sweet 1946 S/S RPM-005 Washington Quarter found in the same box @ $6. No brainier Right?

1884 - $51 ($46 + $5 shipping) PCGS graded it MS64BN

1903 - $40 PCGS graded it MS64RB
1909 - $50 PCGS graded it MS64RD

For fun, I submitted one of my neighbors Morgan dollars in this submission. Its an 1881s that graded MS65PL. He paid less than $5 for it 50+ years ago. I think he did the best of these.

This was a pretty good submission, but I was a little disappointed that the 1884 and 1900 didn't get a 65.
