Please thank him for his service for me, glad to hear he's back and safe. Wishing the same for the rest of his brothers and sisters in arms whom are still deployed.
That's great news, Bing! What a relief Please thank him for his service for me, and thank you too for yours
Glad your son is back to civilisation as we know it, and safe and sound. And thank you all for your service - families included.
So glad to hear your good news. Thank you for his service to keep us safe. That's a great coin too. The son being home is better than the coin.
Wonderful to hear. Celebrate well. Here is one of my newly acquired coins. Alexander chased Bessus into Afghanistan, won, then had to deal with the Scythians before he could move on to his next mission. Sound familiar?
Your post made my day @Bing. Nothing makes me happier than to hear that loved ones have safely made it back home I'll celebrate with a coin of Mithradates struck at Pontos with Zeus/Eagle

SIDENOTE: if Buster or Larry ever escape out of the gate, I am fricken frantic!! (so I can only imagine what it would be like for you, my awesome friend) Cheers
I thank your son for his service. I know how you feel. My oldest daughter got back in Feb from her 3 tour of Iraq. You just don't breath easy at all while they are gone. Beautiful coin!
My thoughts as well. Some people just dont get it (and that's OK), but I had an extremely good time in the Navy. I only wished I had stayed the 20. Anyway, glad be's back OK and thanks for your, his, and other members service!
Your son is a Patriot. Please thank him for his service to our country. Congrats on raising a worthwhile human being!
So, Bing, are you giving that away out of gratitude? IJK. Congratulations to all of you in your family who had to hold your breath and/or pray while your son was deployed. About a week ago I listened to Romesha's book on audio, Red Platoon. Man, what an ordeal they went through in Afghanistan! Happy for him and all of you! Steve
Your son probably dont wanna see ancient Afghan coins at the moment ? , guess he's just happy to be back in The US of A and see his family again. Anyway here are three 2000 year old coins I found in my collection:
Actually he's not in the U.S. He's stationed in Poland and that's where is wife and son are waiting for him. He's in Mons, Belgium for debriefings, physical, equipment turn-in, etc., until Wednesday next week. Then he will travel to be with his family. His mother and I will not see him until July when both my boys and their families will meet us in Colorado for a couple of weeks. BTW, he said this tour was perhaps the most rewarding time professionally for him. At least he's being positive. Thanks to all for the kind words, and be assured I will pass them on to him when we talk next.
