Coin Vault was selling one from the PA mint gift shop for $3,000. So, the label is worth more than the coin?

Coin Vault is promoting it as the second lowest at 75k, no mention of the LESPS. So, it is okay to steal, as long as you do it as allowed by law?

The price won't drop unless the mint announces they're making 150k LESPS's. That would be the ultimate dis by the mint, wouldn't it? The mint gives the large dealers time to unload their bounty, before they announce they're making a total of 225k rather the anticipated 125k. I tell you something's rotten in DeMint!

 

It will be VELLLY interesting to see if you're right.

 

At this point, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get a LESPS before my Congratulation Set backorder ships...

 

I made the argument the other day that this could become an issue. The dealers are banking on numbers and we know most of the coins will wind up at the TPGs because of the slabbed pre-sales. There have been some non-proof issues where there were very few MS70 coins. While less likely with proof issues it is not out of the realm of possibility. With the angst created by the way the Mint handled this one I would not rule out some law suits to the eBay dealers.

 

Order reconciliations have bumped the total sales to 74,906. That's over 400 more than last week's number. With only 94 unsold as of this report, these may not go back up or sale without more inventory.

 

Got the notice that my back ordered coins have shipped.

My congratulation set was on backorder the mint sent me an e-mail they just mailed it out anyone else

 

My order submitted at 7:30 am the day after the release day just went from backordered to processing status.

 

And just shipped too. Guess they got the additional sets packaged. TC

 

Received confirmation of shipment today. I ordered just one.

 

APMEX only yesterday posted their pre-sale of raw and graded coins. I wonder if their order(s) were backordered as well?

 

APMEX has been up for about a week. Noteworthy: they are saying a May 21 shipping date so you may be right. I think they are offering to buy raw ones for $100.

 

Ah, I only saw the email they sent yesterday. I got emails from the other big guys almost immediately after launch day.
