So one of my goals with falling horseman coins is to get at least one large issue from each mint. I had 2 left; Trier and Sirmium. Finding a FH from Trier is difficult to find at any size. Sirmium on the other hand is not to hard to find with the exception of earlier issues. Finally I had found one, though it was a little gamble since I could not see the reverse from the seller. It's also not listed in RIC, though I wonder if others would say it's just a variant of of RIC 32 (Star ASIRM vs ASIRM).

The next FH is a gift; I'm not sure if he would mind being named or not so I'll refrain from doing so :D but thank for the coin! It's another FH of Constans. I really like the horse on this one.

Wow Randy, you are amassing a really cool and complete collection! I am really beginning to appreciate your accomplishment! Sometime it would be cool to see your complete collection of FHs...

*EDIT* COOL tray that you just posted!

Wow! is he really holding his hoof over his head to protect his head?

Should we mention that Sirmium large also comes in Gallus? The size went down fast after Gallus became Caesar so it will be a lot harder to get a mint set (obviously not including the mints that closed before then) of Gallus Caesar than of Constantius II.

My Siscia Gallus below is 4.1g so counts as large but is only II in reverse field. It was overstruck on an Aquileia Constantius II with soldier and two captives reverse.

That's the nicest one I've seen Doug, and also not bad n RIC I think (at work so can't check).

The double fel temp is sweet too.

Not sure if I should make another topic or just add to this one.

Picked up a nice Hut FT from Kens shop that just came today.

Still not much interest in these so I'll refrain from making another topic and just add to this one.

Got a few more Huts in the mail today and wanted to share.

The first is another Moonmoth Hut with a great reverse.

Next, a hut from Aquileia. The seller also threw another hut in as well but I think I will gift it to someone as well.

Great falling horseman @randygeki. While I'm not really a Roman collector, I love the reverse of that series and picked one up when a medieval dealer had a large number of late Roman coins.

Thanks Mat, I only have a few more mints to go for a set.

You picked a winner, not just great condition, but a scarcer type.

Early FH of Arles have a great style, IMO, especially when compared with later coins.
