    Real gold coins don't have a gold layer that flakes off revealing dark material underneath.

    Real 1933 eagles don't show up in "is this coin real" threads.

    So, I think the answer to the question in the thread title is "Right."

    Im just kidding, im not that dumb, I found an auction with those coins and I wasnt sure whether they are fake. Thank you for verification and your compassion!
