Does anyone know what would this penny be worth? WP_20170420_15_44_27_Pro (2).jpg WP_20170420_15_44_37_Pro (2).jpg

Do you have a reason to think it is worth more than one cent?

    Is it a DD penny?

Pictures are small to see really well, where do you think the doubling is?

Personally, I don't see it, but I've noticed other 1969S Pennies online that claim to be DD that look similar to this one. That's why I posted it. Just increase the zoom on your computer to view it better. The photos look big on my end.

There is at least one other, comparatively minor, DDO for this date/mint which could possibly explain what you've (OP) has seen. However, it's equally if not more likely that what you've seen is one of the insane number of nonsense claims made by people dreaming they've the big one. In fact, we've one going right now.

That said, welcome to the forum. :)

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

It's a memorial penny, not a wheat penny.

Yes, my mistake. I've been looking at Wheats all afternoon and I this mistakenly referred to it as a Wheat penny. My bad.

The 69-S DD is a very rare variety and easy to recognize a genuine example.
