    how much can I sell my 2013, one dollar binary serial number (Chinese lucky numbers) the number reads L 28228888 B) in my pictures I tried to show you all the imperfections. What I would really like to do is trade it either for rolls of coins, or some silver. Tell me what your most you would trade this for IMG_0253.JPG IMG_0254.JPG IMG_0255.JPG IMG_0256.JPG IMG_0257.JPG IMG_0259.JPG

    For your serial number, the rule is that you add all the numbers up like this

    2+8+2+2+8+8+8+8=46

    then you multiply the sum by 0

    46x0=0

    Then you add the amount of the face value

    0+$1.00 = $1.00

    So it's worth.... $1.00

    A binary number is described as 1's and 0's.

    You have an eBay binary, which is any two numbers.

    If I found it in circulation, I would be tempted to keep it. I would not spend anything above face to own it.

    Interesting serial numbers are not necessarily valuable. While they may be cool to find most of the numbers you see in posts here would not sell for much if anything above face.

    Value does not increase based on the number of "cool find" responses to a post.

    Although, to be fair, a bill with that many 8's on it might bring a small premium with Chinese eBay buyers as 8 is a number that is supposed to bring good fortune.

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

    Keep an eagle eye on your car's odometer. You'll get all these "eBay binaries" one at a time.

    On one of my annual trips to my Florida home, I just happened to look at my odometer as I parked in the driveway and it read 12345.

    You can definitely get at least $3 for it on ebay.

    I sold a "five in a row" for $3 a couple weeks ago...
