Is Govmint a reputable company? Why they sell gold and silver eagles in small quantities while other companies only sell in higher quantities?

The same reason a dog licks it's...............self...because it can. Welcome, they have a clientele that will buy small quantities. I have bought from them and it was OK.

They will sell you a 2017-S American Silver Eagle proof at six times the Mint issuance price.

GovMint is reputable but in my experience overpriced most of the time. The exception to that is they often run sales on ASE's in the Dec-Feb(ish) timeframe with free shipping and a really good price. That is the only time I buy from them though.

On e-bay I just ordered one (all I wanted) for $23.67. For stuff like this, e-bay isn't a bad place.

I am a small time buyer from the Govmint. Usually MS 70 or MS 69 American Eagles every year. Soon after they arrive, the calls began. Always making offers of "specials". For weeks they call to the point of being annoying.
