continental currency

    i have a continental currency dollar that local dealers say is fake but the only reason they say it is due to the fact that so many that are found are fake...mine does not look like the fake ones they showed me...theirs were all brass and looked new...mine is pewter and has wear on it...anyone interested in helping me please email me at EDITED--It's not a good idea to post your email address on a forum. have pictures of both sides and would like some advice on how to legitimately get it authenticated

    Fake fake fake. If it is made of Pewter it is fake. All the original strikes were in Tin, or Silver washed pewter.
