Just returned from a few days in New Mexico. Stopped in an Antique shop and picked these up for a reasonable price. Nothing to brag about - although I like the toning on the Peace. I did not have any US Notes, so these were welcome additions. :)

Enjoy & have a great day...

Actually, it's that kind of eye for detail that helps spot counterfeits. Don't be discouraged.

    EXACTLY !

That is a good eye for someone not familiar with a certain type of coin.

    Nice coins and notes, USS656.

Were you out at Kirtland AFB ?

the V is just style, same as on the Peace dollar.

Good finds! About once a year I find a bargain in an antique shop. Most of the other times everything is very overpriced. But I like the hunt.

Thanks everyone, it was fun to do a little hunting in a different town.

They are all pretty heavely circulated although the morgan still has luster on it even though its a little beat up. I don't think it's ever been cleaned. It's too bad about all the scratches on the obverse though. Still a great coin:)

That's okay - I also have a PC at home with an AMD - although the new one came with a Dual Core Intel. I believe they are starting to move production to China - They may find that it will come with it's own cost.
