Aaaaaaaayyy, I picked-up my CNG envelope, but somehow I've misplaced it!! It's been AWOL for a week now!! ... I've looked everywhere!! (triple-checked!!) Horrible parenting, eh?!! ... I'm rattled These are the three missing kids!! If you stumble across these poor lost children then "please" contact: Horrible Fricken Ashamed Parent
Has anybody else ever lost a coin? (probably not, eh?) => but if you have, then please share your loss (misery loves company)
That sucks, nice coins. Never lost a coin in my possession, but have thanks to the post office, a few times.
I nearly hit the like button, but I don't think it's appropriate to like someone losing three beautiful coins........look harder
I've looked everywhere!! (5 times!!) And yah, I have been doing it on the sly, for my wife doesn't like me blowing our cash on coins ... => but I can only imagine what my coin budget would become if she found out that I'm also losing them as well!!
I have not received my CNG eAuction 395 Lot 7 yet either... Campania Capua 216-214 BC Æ Uncia 20.5mm 6.1g Laur hdJupiter r star value l Victory trophy star value r Campan, Monete 21 HN Italy 493
These were from 393 ... and I did pickup the envelope (signed it at the post office and everything) ... but somehow on the way home from the market, Jack lost the fricken money!! I suck!! (I shoulda bought those stupid magic beans!!)
I discard envelopes if they're of no importance and of course emptied. I had a pretty big stack that I was going to throw away; which had accrued over a 2 year period. I thought I had better check all before throwing them away. I found a Himyarite Half Denarius that I had no recollection of purchasing. It was pretty close to being buried in the land fill. I'm sorry for your loss. Hopefully no one reports you to CPS for neglect.
Do you think that a vagrant will try to buy smokes with them? (maybe I should report them missing?) Ummm, but probably not (arrghh) ... I love my wife, but she already thinks I'm retarded and careless (nothing good can come from this) THE END
I was sitting in a recliner chair looking at an as of Julia Domna. I dropped it and could not find it so I figured it was in the chair but the chair was too new to destroy looking for an as gone astray. A few years later I was moving that chair out of the room so we could shampoo the carpet. Clunk! I knew immediately what that sound was. Meanwhile, I had bought another coin of the same type and kept both for some time (in case I lost it again?). One of you owns one of them now since I sold it through JA. I hope you enjoy the coin but suggest you watch Julia closely. She is a runner.
Hmmm... I think I may have your chair reject Domna... I got a few of them from John... Or was it THIS one?
Doug, I hope that my coins are somewhere in the house ... because you're right, at some point hopefully they'll show-up. ... worst case scenario is that the envelope got tossed into the recycling and they're back in the ground for somebody else to discover them in 2000 years from now!! Cool story ... but not the story I want to read at the moment
Trace your steps. Maybe you left in on the counter at the post office. Or maybe it slipped underneath seat in the car much like Doug's recliner. I'm sure hope they turn up.
Yah, now it's been six times that I've rechecked the obvious places ... and three times that I've checked the laundry hamper and the fridge (the ridiculous places) => sadly, those puppies are AWOL Sorry, it really is a sad tale for dudes that get attached to their coins (I'm totally rattled)
I've found coins I never new I had lol. Found one in the washer that my mom had planned on giving me once too.
