How rare or valuable are 1988/1989 reverse pennies

I have a peanut butter jar full of 1988p&d pennies. Is it worth my while to go thru them and find the ones with the 1989 reverse.

Well I'm not sure depends who wants it it could be like a 500$ coin. I do think the 89s with the 88 reverse is worth more. But it would still be a cool transitional error find so i would say go for it.

 

When you find at least one of them.. post a picture .. make sure you wipe off the peanut butter!

They, are out there! May, not ever see them, in hand.
I have been looking since 2011 or so, and have maybe an example, they are pretty rare, and probably the result of a filled die, but, a known variety, none the less.

 

Sitting up all night. Went through all of them, didnt find a single one
