My pawnshop 1902 S Morgan is back from PCGS...

I couldn't be happier with the results!!! I bought this coin for $20 at a pawn and paid $31 to get it graded. From the nick on the reverse rim to soaking in acetone to get rid of the finger print left over from a coin dealer who popped my coin out of the plastic slip, the coin is finally taken care of for good. I had 50/50 mixed opinions on whether this would even grade, in person and online. I'd like to thank everyone for the opinions because I probably wouldn't have sent it in to get it graded! Also, my first choice was ANACS so I'm happy I went with PCGS! Here is the original thread https://www.cointalk.com/threads/grading-this-1902-s-morgan-24-find.288166/

Rather a generous grade on PCGS' part, but I'm pleased to see it in a straight slab.

I am glad they did you right because they completely messed me over.. I submitted an 1884 S Toned Morgan to them which was previously evaluated by not one but 3 other people who all said MS-61 for sure , possibly MS-62.. I got it back after paying 150 for membership then an additional 60.00 for shipping and handling only to have these thieves say the coin was cleaned , ( which is wasn't ) and that it had fibers on in so it was slabbed saying Authentic Cleaned.

total BS. Any suggestions on what I can do to remedy this ??

With all due respect, sir; the supposed opinions of three nameless people mean nothing. This certainly isn't to say them wrong and the TPG automatically right, but only that free opinions are all too often worth only what you paid for them, and they simply don't prove anything one way or the other. If I only had a dollar for each time someone has sworn their coin wasn't cleaned....

That said, there really isn't anything you can do. You paid for their opinion and that's exactly what you got. Of course their opinion sometimes changes upon resubmission, but there is no guarantee. Perhaps it would be best to post photos of the coin in question and go from there.
