I was preparing to list a roll of circ '29-S Buffalo nickels when I found what may be 3 coins that appear to fall under the "2 feather" heading. But strangely, there's not a lot of examples of this variety in either NGC or PCGS's populations. So my question is if this variety is actually fairly common and hence few people get it attributed or ?
Anyway, thanks in advance for the help.

Imo the low population numbers are simply because the variety doesn't add enough value to justify the cost of slabbing the coins which often in are low to mid circulated condition.

It looks like # 2 and 3 could be 2 feathers, The first one does have the 3 feathers.
