I was browsing around eBay for 1864 IHCs and I found one that may be an L. It has some env. damage, but it has decent details and I think the L is visible. Here it is:

What do you think? L or no L?

This is not a 1864 L. Dead give away is the rounded bust.

Okay. I'm not good at telling the difference between a round and pointed bust.

I am not sure if you can see this website ... give it a try http://www.pcgscoinfacts.com/ and look at Indian Head Pennies 1864

If you can see it ... It is a great reference for all US Coins. Not real crazy with their Photograde Section .. leave too may details out. Good for beginners

Besure you are looking at the Type Year Mint Details section .. I have a paid subscription and have for years .. do not know if it is available without subscription.. please tell me what you find

Also notice the pitting marks. This may have seen an old cleaning. Might have been a "dug" coin. JMHO.
