WTG Bill two thumbs up

 

Thank you my friend. I've done two exhibits and won Best of Show both times. I think it's time to retire.

 

No way Bill .....the craft man in you wouldn't allow that to happen . ....and by chance it does....I've got a long list of honey do you can start on your next visit to your daughters

 

LOL That's what I need, a longer list. Just started a project, building 16 Corn Hole game boards for my grandkids school.

 

Ah....make that 17 the wife allow me to use the yard darts after I speared the neighbors Chihuahua ......

Jerry a few years ago Bill brought his 2 cent collection to Baltimore Whitman show.
Bill is who I would consider the go to guy on the 2 cent piece ,as well store cards,and coppers in general. His collection complete of all 2 cent pieces in both MS & Proof.
IMHO should of taken 1st place as for his display as well the specimens in the display case.
I am more than proud to call Bill a friend as well salute him for his work in Numismatics.

 

Certainly is a tremendous amount of time and $$$ assembling a collection like that.

 

Had to work yesterday . ....was sort of bummed out as got an invite to go out opening day for Strippers.

 

From the reports I got up and down the Bay, you didn't miss a whole lot...most charters came back with 0, 1 or 2...with the dogwoods in nearly full bloom, me thinks the girls are up in the rivers spawning.

 

It worked and I rotated the coin. The old holder sure looks much better, and I didn't want to get it reholdered.

Been in a dry spell till last Tuesday but finally broke out and scored some keepers with my metal detector. No key dates but the walker (1944) is in real good shape and the seated quarter (1875) is only the second I've ever found. Two Washington's, (1934 and 1941) were found in the same hole.
