This looks like a 5, or it could be a 4, and if it's an 1805 and a small 5 at that the difference in value is astronomical. I can't tell. All thoughts and opinions appreciated. This is the best photo I have been able to take of it. Also, any suggestions on what kind of lighting might make it more legible? Or? Should I just give up? Thanks, Bill at SilverWilliesCoins.com
I still see a 7. Please excuse my poor Photoshop skills. They are a little rust, but I think in my eye this is what I'm seeing. I could be wrong? Happy Easter Everybody!
Looks like a 7, but I'm no expert. I think its a 7, at first I thought a 5 d/t the mark or blurred area above what remains of the number. If you combine the two areas you'd have a large number there.
I think it is a 1803 blunt 1 variety. Reverse photo please I am interested to see if it is a small fraction variety
