just got inspired to go look for more and found a nice reverse. the Columbus Quincentary Silver Dollar has a very nice reverse. i'll try to get a picture cuz i'm not sure if anyone else has that coin
Columbus yea the top one is what i was talkin about! thanks dave and by any chance do u have the 1893 Columbian Exposition Half Dollar. it's got a very pretty reverse too (hey i like ships)
My favorite, the TI Buffalo nickel reverse. The proof Barber quarter reverse posted in this thread looks pretty dazzling, too.
I have to admit that the Oregon Commemorative is probably one of the nicest designs in U.S. coin history...both sides. I'm infatuated with its high relief.
It truely is a lovely coin, they also did round versions too i believe. It's also a whopping chunk of gold too!
I like your barber dime Jody and agree with your assessments of it. Now since this is an interesting thread I offer two interesting choices of my own. They are not my favorites, didn't make up my mind yet, but I find them to be of interest.
