Did you get the email, if not here's the deal http://www.anacs.com/contentPages/Specials/ANACSSilverandGold.aspx
Reminds me of the Crack Cocaine junkies from the 1980's in my neighborhood Them - "Yo, I got a brand new VCR.. give me $20.00 for it" Me - "I will give you $3.00" Them - "OK.. I will take it!"
This is a old special and was suppose to end at the end of March . But they extended it, til the end of this month .. Carry on ...
ANACS was at a show in FL this month taking submissions at the $8 rate. ICG was there next to them with their $10 show rate. ANACS had a case on the back table (covered) half the size of the ICG case (uncovered) and my guess from what I saw was IGC got at least double the submissions over the three days. While I was at the ICG table a dealer told the ICG employee that he uses ICG regularly and said ANACS was doing coins for $8 so could ICG come down in price. He was told no, that ICG does just fine without needing to drum up submissions with the continuously lower rates ANACS is resorting to. I hear that very large submissions of bulk common coins can even get a $7 rate at NGC. Anyone know for sure? Hopefully, one day the TPGS will get down to $5 so cheap collectors such as myself can have something slabbed!
