People have been making jewelry from coins for many years. When I first started collecting (early 70's), every coin show I attended had tables of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc made from mercs and SLQ's. During WWII, my dad made a bracelet (trench art) from Philippines coins. This type of art has been around for ages.
I rather see coins made into something useful as opposed to heading to the melting pot every time silver gets above $30.00. jmho

Ive gathered all the tools i need to do this about 2 years ago, I just couldnt bring myself to punch a hole in a silver dollar. One of these days i would like to start churning these out on a press, and have everyone in the tri-state area wearing one! :greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy:
