Guys , I came across a very interesting bill on Ebay I've never seen. Basiclly a mismatch on Star note. Not a mismatch on serial , but on the star itself !!!. The seller and no reputation and doesn't accept return !!! . A red flag there , but do you think it's legit ?? I searched the star notes for 1 dollar in 2003 , no such serial number is supposed to be printed for "A" engraving center !! . I'm going towards fake for this as it's very irritational such error ever made. Let me know your opinion. Click to see the listing Link to seller : http://www.ebay.com/itm/262927968997
Fake. Check out sellers other listing. http://m.ebay.com/itm/262926584325 There is no way the suffix would misalign then shift. You can tell where the area has been bleached.
I finally found the note in question. 2013 $1 "A" Stars did not reach the 43,000,000 mark, but the A-B block did... My guess is an outside BEP job.
Yea There is no star AB ever printed in that ranged for 2013 , so this is either a post BEP scam or the BEP really made such error !! , with lartter probably be so unlikely and the seller wouldn't have let it go for a few hundreds but many several thousands. My take is it's 99% fake , but it seems the faking has been nicely done by him.
