Out of three empresses with the same name, this one is believed to be the wife of Theodosius. Mint: Antioch 398-4901 AD.Can this be confirmed? Eudoxia.jpg

Can be a bit confusing! I was looking at Wiki's list of Empresses, they called the OP Aelia Licinia Eudocia wife of Theodosius II...

Mine is the Wife of Arcadius... unless it is mis-attributed...

Eudoxia was the wife of Arcadius. As for Theodosius the Great, his wife was Aelia Flaccilla. Here's the best condition I could find of Empress Eudoxia, in my possession. RIC X- 83 Antioch. Eudoxia O scarce RicX-83.jpg Eudoxia R scarce Ant Delta.jpg

    Cool OP addition
Here are Eudoxia, wife of Arcadius....

Eudoxia, AE4 Antioch mint, third officina

    Ref : Roman coins # 4241

Based on the observation of another example minted with the same dies and with a visible exergue on reverse, the Antioch's third officina provenance of this coin is now certain. Thanks to Myriam at Nummus Bible II forum for her perspicacity and for providing me with the information

....and Aelia Flaccilla, wife of Theodosius I

I have not identified this AE4 yet. Maybe Flaccilla?

I think so. I can make out AEL FL on the inscription from 8:00 to 10:00 on the obverse. Can't make out the mintmark, though.
