Is this 2015 P ASE really worth the rarity prices?

I'll let those with access to their TPG's answer that but again, Edit-Looks like that might be close to the going price, low population it seems, just checked some ebay prices other than the ones you saw. Who would have guessed.

ANACS graded over 300 in this condition so I'm not sure what the rarity factor really is. Maybe someone with NGC and PCGS pop. reports can weigh in on this?

No way I'd buy a $6000 coin whose value is almost completely dependent on the slab it's in.

It's worth an ounce of silver to me. I've never considered these to be coins that I would collect, because they don't circulate as money. I assume you could spend one for $1 face value if the kid at the convenience store doesn't believe it's a counterfeit.
I always considered them as commemoratives.
The only commem I have is a rare 1921 50 cent pilgrim tercentenary. It was passed down to me.

Are you serious...? Do you realize it's just a bullion coin in a holder with a fancy label?
