Flying Eagle Cent: DDO or Machine Doubling

    Don't have the now book. But it seems that most if not all of the obverse letters are doubled. I think MD, but not sure.

    I just did, thank you. At first I was thinking Snow-21, but now I think it's Machine Doubling. There's actually tripling on the CA of AMERICA! Really neat, but sort of like steps, so must be machine. Anyway, not a bad coin. Sending it in for grading and hoping for an AU50. I'm into it dirt cheap.

    Nice coin. That's the look many collectors are looking for. I would rather own it over many of the lower grade MS coins I see.

    I agree. Very nice strike. No weakness on ONE CENT is what I like about.

    It appears to match S17 in the Flying Eagle and Indian Cent Attribution Guide. Close to S21.
