Hey guys just curious if you think rolls of 2006 P and D nickels uncirculated would be worth 3$ a roll?

About right. It is not a special year particularly, even though they were marketed as "Return to Monticello". Now 2009 nickels? There you'd have something!

Alright i was just wondering a local antique shop has 11 of them for 3$ each im sure he would do them all for 30 though. Just wanted some input if its worth it. I like error coins more so i dont know. Even if i opened them would that still be uncirculated? The come in the original mint wraps and everything. But any coin from 2009 is worth keeping right?

In my opinion, 2009 nickels and dimes in particular are worth keeping, if they are in mint state condition.

That's a good deal, nice to look for full steppers and high graders. But not worth keeping if all banged up and they do get banged around before they are wrapped.

And yes, they would still be uncirculated, just don't get any fingerprints on them.

I know the mint sold rolls of nickels in 2003. 04, and 05 but I don't think there are any mint wrapped rolls in 2006.

Its the world reserve monetary exchange rolls. This is how they came and each roll came in a nice velvet bag. PART_1491516227975_IMG_20170406_1803151.jpg

OK so they are just rolled by a private company.

Low mintage compared to most. These rolls are going for nice prices now.

Yes, there are. The Mint wrapper is brown, gray and white. I have 10 rolls of each mintmark.

I've looked through quite a few penny rolls and 2009 are pretty scarce

I'm guessing that was because 2009 was the 4-coin bicentennial celebrating the birth of Lincoln. Hundreds of millions of each of the four designs were produced and people have hoarded them like the bicentennial quarters of 1976.
