Almost done with three box of hams for the day and one 1964 to show for it plus a couple interesting things. Also with $130 of quarters finally found my first effigy mounds quarter. So giddyup! IMG_5336.JPG IMG_5334.JPG IMG_5331.JPG IMG_5332.JPG

Was that a 1977 half balboa?

1973. I had to look it up but apparently no silver. It's cool looking though! I really like the Balboa designs.

Ran into some amazing CWRs of Cents this week. Don't have time to document all of my finds, but I had to show you this slot filler!! :)

I think Panamanian coins are made by the US Mint, and have been the exact same size and metal content as US coins.

and to gloat a little; Today, was at the bank, and the teller only had three pennies in his tray. One was reversed, and I saw it was a wheat. It turns out all three were Wheats. He then told me that some old guy had brought in a bunch of rolls, and he was just using them. I was able to snag the last two rolls the teller had.

Lots of the D and S coins. I've got plenty of 30s Philly cents, though. Many spares of those.

I could use a couple 30s wheaties to fill slots in my book if you have any you can spare. It would be greatly appreciated.

I will let you both know. I came across a find last month and still sifting through it but there was at least a roll or two that have random 30s in there. Will PM you after I can check the lot.

I stopped at a bank on my drive home from work to pickup cash for this weekend, so as always, I asked for halves. I've never found a half worth keeping at this bank, so I wasn't optimistic.

There were three tellers working I'd never seen there before. They were all thrilled to get rid of their halves. They had $120 in CWRs, and $24 loose. As they were shuffling the loose halves on their countertops before they rolled the coins I could hear the sweet sound of silver! I played it cool and didn't say a word.

Sure enough, when I arrived home I was very pleased with the first roll you see in the photo. One other roll had 2 dirty, 40%ers, so not worth a photo, sorry. The rest of the rolls and loose coins were Cu-Ni clad...regardless, I'm thrilled with this haul!

    HH everyone
