I'm not sure if I'll get more, but finally got my feet wet. 6th dynasty to Ptolemaic period seems like wide period, does anyone have experience with these? I have a couple Randy. I understand that these were strung on a necklace, and many times they were a pair. I understand that they served as a protecting amulet by the God Horus. Egypt Faience Eye of Horus Amulet ca 1070-332 BCE 3rd Int to Late Per - Blue glaze double sided Egyptian Eye of Horus Faience Amulet - Date: C. 1070-713 BC - Third Intermediate Period - Information: A small orange glazed eye of horus amulet with black high relief and complete with suspension loop. - Meaning: Horus son of Osiris, Egyptian deity worshipped as a sky god. Uzat eye’s are probably a pair, right and left which represent the two eye’s of Horus, and were also compared to the sun and moon. One of the earliest amulets - Condition: Intact with good color and nice detail. - Provenance: Old English Collection - Ref: Amulets by W. M. Flinders Petrie. Similar example to plate XXV - Size: 19mm width

Have no idea what these are but they look pretty cool. Only antique jewelry I have is a ring and bracelet from the Byzantine era.
