...not quite sure what part of the country you live in buddy but out here in sunny SoCal, multi-millionaires dressed in board shorts and flip flops come a dime a dozen seriously...the richest guy i know didn't even change his attire for his own mothers funeral...deal with it pal
@V. Kurt Bellman I think you are just a little jealous that he can dress any way he wants. I am a business owner, and work in homes that are million plus. Are you saying that that guy in holy jeans and old shirts with a scruffy beard cant do the same quality work as a guy in a Shirt Tie and Jacket? The problem is you think that Attire should get you respect.
There is no excuse for for wearing a Tie, I forgot to meantion I wear a 10 year old Aussie felt hat that has seen more weather than your pocket book.
You might have chose to use your mouth, towards your future, I chose to use my hands, don't give me a chance to grab that Tie with my left hand,. If we ever meet. There is more to this life than what you portray.
If you could only see them, they are pretty calloused and not as rough as my Gpa's but worn just the same. You and I wear the same collar, might be different fabric, but they are just the same.
For my first 65 years I never trusted anyone wearing a suit and tie...just a cover for what's inside and an excuse to charge more for services.
And you would be laughed out of mine! Anyone who thinks they are the least bit better than another because of their dress code is nothing more than an ignorant bombast. Why do you get your feathers so ruffled anyway? What's the big deal with casual attire in the casual workplace? By the way...I still don,t trust people in suits.
Or a judge, or a Speaker, or any of several hundred people tasked with upholding tradition and decorum. Feel glad we're not still in powdered wigs.
And I'm sure thousands railed against the wig's departure, too. How can you expect to demand respect when you're sitting there in your own hair? Why, you could even be bald, and then nobody will EVER take you seriously! If you're not willing to take spend the nominal amount of time and money it takes to maintain and don a powdered wig, you have no place in the Halls of Justice.
