And you are presuming that he doesn't have permission. He could very easily have asked permission to use the images. (I know, that's why you say "perhaps".)

I think it is real, but it is an AU that has been polished and possibly artificially frosted. In the condition it is in now it is worth maybe Fine money. It is interesting that King-O-Coins says that the buyer refused to pay for the coin, AND gripes that the buyer left a neg even though King gave him a refund. If he refused to pay, then why did you give a refund? Did you "refund" the money he didn't send? Oops.

I would be saying that coin is a mucked XF, but you could still probably get it slabbed with ANACS. Otherwise, it is a complete scam. .

    Flipper vs scammer

I think these guys are scammers more than flippers.

In 06, I got into the lucrative business of flipping. I speculate by buying what I think will be hot issues at issue price or slightly over issue and sell them for a profit once the online market creates the demand for the product. That is flipping.

These guys are selling fakes or committing fraud by misrepresenting and selling the online public less than honest coins. That's a scammer, liar and a cheat.

If the online community is willing to pay $39.95 for a set of P&D Jefferson Dollars that I paid $9.95 for...who am I to argue.

If the online community is willing to pay him $7,000 for a coin he paid less than $600 for, who are we to complain? :)

I asked him how he could be so reluctant to part with the 1798 cent for $7,000 considering how he had just bought it the day before for less than $600 and probably hadn't even received it yet.

    No answer so far. :)

Yeah...Conder ..that mark up screams scammer.
I'm only making $10-$150 per tranaction and sometimes $250-$350.

I thought it funny the guy claimed he didn't know a cleaned coin from an uncleaned one, yet has the nerve to mark it up 500%. Wouldn't that be like a blind crossing guard?
    Guy~
