Yes , a solid date OBW roll.

 

Used the scope last night and it looks as in the picture. Part of the top right of the Memorial and letters AM appear. My stereo scope does not have photo capabilities so I cannot post these findings, sorry. I will try the heated pin suggested by @BooksB4Coins next. @cpm9ball. As a note, the AM are not backwards as would happen if someone created this intentionally like a vice job. Plus the multiple fragments of zinc were also present as I went through the roll. Chris' suggestion of a dropped element is interesting, but also the thought of a foreign substance having made it's way into the roll is also a possibility. If anyone here who has better capabilities than I would like to inspect this, please PM me and I will send it to that person for a better opinion. Perhaps @Fred Weinberg might stop by with some suggestions?
