I have looked at a lot of Morgans. I am still very new at coin collecting but I DO prefer the Morgan dollar to collect. Why does the eagle's right wing on the reverse side always seem to show more wear than the left wing? This seems to be only in VF and below condition but it sure seems to be the norm. With the experience on this forum, I'm sure somebody knows the answer or perhaps its just me being a noob collector. Thanks guys
Wish all questions were that easy. The right wing (especially the wing tip) is a higher point on the coin, than the left. Other high points on the reverse are the breast, the tops of the legs, and the talons.
