I just bought my son a Japanese Shiba Inu. I went to purchase a beagle, which is 1/3 the price of the Shiba Inu (a brand I had never heard of before). But my son fell in love with this dog, and the dog fell in love with my son. It was almost magical, so I dug deep into my pockets and bought it.

And to keep it coin related, here is my new canine coin.

Show off pics of your dogs, or coins of dogs and wolves.

I love beagles, but Shiba Inu's are cute too. Great that your son has a new best friend. I miss mine growing up :(

We had a Shiba named Peko for 14 years. Delightful dogs, but quirky. Check on YouTube using the search phrase "Where's Satan"

If the cost of that dog is going to put a couple of coins on hold, totally worth it for the look on your son's face.:)

Just think of the number of coins you could have bought (for your son of course) @Sallent

$1,800 for a dog. LOL. That could be a lot of coins, or one super coin, but a coin won't lick your face, or love you back. And a coin will never be your loyal friend and companion.

My son named him Chippy. I would have prefered something a little different, but I'm not going to argue over a name with a 6 year old.

Chippy is cute though. When he grows up you can call him Chipistair Doggibald the Third.
