hi. i saw this coin and someone told me that its Aino's Didrachm. i researched it online and i could not find any Aino's Didracm on wild winds. did Aino's have a Didrachm??? here is the picture of the coin. the wight of the coin is 10.1grams so it cant be a Tetradrachm, and the diameter is 22mm. http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p4/ilan1812/coins/picture.jpg thanks for you help.
It is without doubt Ainos Thrace. Its a Silver Tetrobol with the Head of Hermes turned slightly to the left, wearing a petasos (a style of hat with a broad, floppy brim) with a beaded border The reverse shows a Goat standing to right with letter AINION top left, trophy symbol to the right of goat. If real and in that condition it would be worth maybe 300+ USD but I wont comment on authenticity.
