I never tire of seeing them. :)

Unfortunately, I don't have any legionary denarii, but I am interested in the Antony series. How many are there LEG I through LEG XXIII, CHORTIVM PRAETORIARVM, and...? :)

There are 27 distinct MA legionary coins I believe which includes a couple with differing designs from the same legions.

These are very cool. The Mark Antony ones especially just ooze history.
I don't have one but I want one. It will have to be a very good example because it will probably be the only one I'll have.

My darkly toned LEG XV(with very weak "V"). My only legionary so far but hopefully I can add another this year:

When it's that good you probably only need one!

Unfortunately it's leg XV(the V is just very weak, but you can see the faint outline of it). Leg X is definitely one I'd like to pick up though.

I think you meant to post this in the other thread?? Anyway I think it's RIC 59b Herennia Etruscilla AR Antoninianus. HER ETRVSCILLA AVG, diademed & draped bust right on crescent / PVDICITIA AVG, Pudicitia seated left holding sceptre & drawing veil from her face

I am so side tracked by all the awesome coins but the knowledge that is passed around here is deep also. I love learning, now I just have to find out why it's so relative to my fam. I am like a child at toys r us with the treasure trove I had been putting off looking into. Glad I waited, sorta.. this is new thoughts and I cannot say enough my appreciation that you all love this it is the best help so far. Blew my mind. Thought it was just granny's poke the baby stick post-death..lol.
