Is this some kind of unattributed variety otherwise what do you mean by the cherried part? (I have 3 very nice 81-S Morgans that I'm wondering if I need to search for something on them)
There have been some super awesome coins and some of the most sought after ever posted here lately, which is why I don't feel right posting this comparatively petty posting. But I got this silver quarter in change from the grocery store earlier today, and it's not in terrible shape... so here it is. I didn't pay a thing for it. It's amazing that I can still find coins like this.
Some Newps from Baltimore: The only raw coin I bought at the show (I wasn't focused on certified coins . . . just how it turned out) is this deep orange 1877-S quarter eagle . . . An 1890-O Morgan which looks one grade better in person . . . (the photos couldn't possibly have made it look worse). A pretty 1881 Morgan . . .
A scarce 1892 Quarter Eagle . . . A pretty nice 1832 Quarter . . . A very nice example of the 1892-S Morgan in AU. The coin is much more lustrous than the images imply.
