I agree with you. There have been some comments / threads about adding in Medieval postings up until approx 1500 CE to the Ancients Forum. This is for exactly as you are pointing out: many coins minted during those times looked as though the processes and results were the same as Ancients.
Ahaha, lehmansterms ... thanks for your coincern I think my example rocks, but just in case, I'll merely ask the folks at CNG ... => Hey, Ardy => did you guys sell me a total loser, or what?
One man's terrible is another man's awe-inspiring: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grozny One man's total loser is another man's treasure. Just to keep this coin related. I'll post a wire I find good enough.... or is it Godunov? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boris_Godunov If you don't know the historical Boris, I suggest reading the above summary. He was an interesting guy if not exactly admirable. Yes, he was the prototype for the Bullwinkle baddie.
Are you talking about my coin? Those are the seller's pictures. I will try taking some myself shortly.
I can add two German coins, but I'm lacking my attributions since I'm on my phone (playing 'separate the kitties' as they try to get used to one another, and 'separate the kitties' has turned into 'separate Fitz from computer with little to do')
Yes, in case there was some confusion I may have inadvertantly added to, I was referring to the Lithuanian coin in a mylar & cardboard "hugger", pictured on page 1 of the discussion, but it seems the subject swung rapidly into wire dengas and kopeks - perhaps due to the horse & rider theme.
