I was digging through the safe the other day and found these. Forgot I had them actually.
    Here's a sample:

If I'm not mistaken these are the "original" Euro Specimen notes. Appear to be dated 2001.

    I have two complete sets. The 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500.

All notes are still nice CU notes.

Any information would be appreciated such as value per set, individually etc.

If I'm not mistaken these sets were commanding a decent premium at one time but not sure now.

    Thanks for any help.

They are now relatively cheap. Occasionally, I can see them appearing in ebay.

Here is a link to Downies online sales of Euro Specimen notes in a set and hard to believe that it is going for only A$9.95 for 7 pieces of specimen notes.

    Thanks,

I haven't lost any thing on them so I reckon I'll just keep them. They are kinda cool.

I was just "dabbling" in world currency at that point. Bought them from a guy in Southern Illinois. I believe I paid him around $6 a set but don't quote me on it. Not my real field of inteterest.
