Well I've finally submitted some Jeffersons for attribution here are some pics of what I sent in. Pic 1 is a 1950 D/D pic 2 and 3 are of a 1938 S/S/S east (same coin) Pic 4 is a 1954 S/D new variety Pic 5 is a 1986 D/D Pretty sure about the 1954S and 1986D somewhat sure about the 1938S but not sure at all about the 1950D
1950 D? I agree, not sure. 1954 S/D Looks Good! 1938 S/S Are you sure that those are the same coin? (2 & 4) Looks like picture 2 is the regular S/D. & Picture 4 look like strike doubling to the east, and a die break in the lower loop if the S. 1986 D/D -- nice find.
Thanks Frank, I've added arrows on the photo's to point out what I think I see. Also put the photo's in order. I was having trouble with my photo editor since I upgraded my Microsoft Office - ended up removing Office and photo editing program and reloading them - everything seems fine now. I can edit photos again Yeah!
Thanks for the markings. I'm still not sure on the 38S, but I guess that we'll find out. If so, it has to be the widest RPM of the series.
