    I like the older photo better. It has warmer color. Which one looks more like the coin in hand?

    Yes. That's what I thought. The second photo might look better, but the old one looks more natural to me due to the sandy patina.

    I agree The 1st picture is much better.

    The second one hides too much.

    Hi ro,
    Both are good but I vote for the first one (older method). The face shows more detail and the letters on the circumference are sharper.
