Lucky enough for eBay? Maybe, although it's got some creases:

A shame about that 4 on the end, but it looks like a block of 6 8's is enough to generate some interest. Thoughts?

Should have kept taking out money until you got 8 8's.

No, it has to have at least 7 of a number to be worth something.

It was in the middle of the stack. Totally random numbers out of this ATM, and usually circulated to boot.

No, but their money looks just like yours or mine once it lands in my PayPal account. ;)

OK too bad. Sometimes they fill those things with fresh ones and are in order.

How much would one with the same number 7 times be worth?

There is a link here for fancy serial numbers. It lists 7 as a good one, but doesn't give pricing. You would have to check EBay for similar notes to get an idea.
The condition of your bill is very important also.

There are several factors that will determine the value of a note with a fancy serial number, in this case 7-of-a-kind (which by the way is also a binary). Some of the factors don't have anything to do with the serial number. These factors are...

    1. Condition - obvious reasons
    2. Series - rare or short print run?
    3. Which number is repeated
    4. Which is the number not repeated
    5. Are the seven numbers all consecutive?

Some numbers normally get more money at sale than others. Seven 7's for example. I believe it has something to do with being considered lucky. I believe this originated from casino slot machines where triple 777 was a jackpot/winner. This is also referred to as Sunset Strip. Aside from that there's the perfect symmetry of seven 7's.

Also, since it's a binary, if you have the combination of 0 and 1 it is then considered a True Binary which usually gets more money at sale. Combinations of 0 and 9 or 6 and 9 are usually a little more valuable too.
