FINALLY!! Can't believe it!

    The best serial number I have ever seen and I got to hold it was on a $20.00 bill. It was 00000001. A local dealer had it and showed it to me. I was in awe...

    I have owned a couple of National Bank notes with serial number one but never a Federal reserve note. I heard somewhere they didn't release them but thought that was just an urban legend.

    I believe it may have been just that, an urban legend. I hear they exist, though never seen one in person....

    I'm more into coins but thought I would check out the paper money forums. How much would something like this be worth?

    Heritage Auctions quoted it at $75-$150. I emailed them about it because they do some valuations for free and that's what they said.

    Well condition is everything, you would have to determine what is an actual error
    and what isnt a nice low serial number find never the less :)
