The reverse of the 1953 Nickle as requested...

    Hello friends,

    Here is the reverse of the 1953 Proof Jefferson..
    As I mentioned it is somewhat lighter than the obverse and the strike is not as crisp.

    Is that full steps? I can't tell from the pic.

    Thank you guy's for the comments. I have pondered send these off to pCGS for Slabbing...
    I have had these for a long time.....wish I still had the whole sets of the Frankies and Qtr's I sold years ago...I had a 1952 Frankie that was Cameo just from the re-polishing of the dies with the diamond dust (ithink thats waht they used) that fetched over $850.00 in 1995. It was beautiful!

    Adam, I think as a rule all proofs are full steps as produced. It's only in the business strikes where this designation comes into play.

    Not really, there are a great many Proof examples that do not have Full Steps. But you are correct in that the designation is not used on Proofs.
