I was at a cabinet shop today with a client. Check out this backsplash they had for one of their displays. I should have asked how it was assembled.
If they went to all that trouble, why didn't they make them all showing the obverse? Or reverse for that matter?
There are several videos out there about doing floors this way. With floors, after all the coins are laid, a layer of liquid plastic is poured to create a protective shield. Here it's probably done on a panel and then installed. Search youtube for "Penny backsplash" or "Penny floor"
Yes, there is a clear cover over it. I should have asked what it was. Now find the wheat cent... (if there is one)
