2014 penny with p mint mark

    I found a penny with p mint mark with blank zinc on the back of the coin and little imprint on the back . the front is copper base with the date mint mark and words " liberty" and " In God We Trust

    You need pictures.
    There were no P mint mark Cents in 2014.
    This year, 2017 is the first year they ever used the P mint mark on the US Cent. The rest of your description sounds like PSD - Post Strike Damage

    Yep... sounds like a defaced (PMD) coin.. and there would not be a P mint mark.
