    Hmmm, I scored it from a CNG auction ... ummm, before that it belonged to Thomas Cederlind (see below for a bit more info)

    2nd emission, mid AD 269
    Diameter: 18 mm
    Weight: 2.79 grams
    Obverse: Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right
    Reverse: Clasped hands
    Reference: RIC V 7; AGK 3b
    Other: 6h … Good VF, brown surfaces with traces of silvering

    Thanks zumbly, normally I would not buy a reverse as rough/worn as this, but after realization that it's either this or nothing as have been looking for one for years. But it seems to have enough detail underneath the rough patina, might need a soak.

    Here is a Macrianus, struck Summer 260-early summer 261:

    INDVLGENTIAE AVG
    Indulgentia seated left holding out patera in right and with short scepter cradled in left.
    Sear 10801 "uncertain Syrian mint".
