HELP!!! I've just been notified by Firefox that someone may have erected a website to impersonate toughcoins.com . . . see below: No one should consider the site or my offerings anywhere else on the internet safe until I get this checked and straightened out. Please spread the word in case I've definitely been hacked. If needed, I may be reached with the help of moderators here at CT. Mike at ToughCOINS
This appears to simply be an expired site certificate issue. Still folks, please refrain from using the site until further notice. Mike
Yikes! At least it looks as though you haven't been hacked which is good! I'm an always so nervous buying online anymore.
Does that mean I won't receive the Gobrecht Dollar I purchased? Just kidding.... Hope you are able to resolve it. I loathe an internet crook.
I figured something was going on. I tried to get on the ToughCOINS site early this morning. It wouldn't let me. Hope it's something easy.
You too? I ordered two of them in a "buy one get one free" offer Mike had going. Not sure of his business model, but who am I to question?
I'm making some changes to how ToughCOINS.com is maintained (new server, new SSL certificate, and new code for automating certificate renewals / installations going forward) so it'll be a few days before it appears secure again.
