I forget who it is but someone up here has an AWESOME display similar to this. They had different bays arranged by denomination almost. I super, man-drooled over that one. Tims is nice for the price and value of his collection though, i wouldnt mind owning and using it for a display myself. gah, i cant remember the other user, i feel like he said he customized it all himself though.
I bought a Brazil 50 centavos last year that smelled like someone dropped it in their rabbit food with ranch dressing.
I'd like to get one. They have ones that fit in corners of rooms and have lighted-up segments to make for easy viewing. If anybody has a modern curio, post pics or a link where you bought it.
Holy Moly A resurrected thread from 2013! Most of the members who responed aren't even on CoinTalk anymore. I like the cabinet. But I'm looking to get a small cabinet that IKEA carries..
Last time I looked, I was looking at nice wooden ones that ran about $250 or so. That one isn't bad for the money.
Detecto. Here was a freebie. It locks too! Not modern though. I am sure you could just check Market place or any of the others. A lot a just given away. This one was also free. Very old school. I would give it to ya. But wouldn't be worth the shipping. It's just sitting in a spare room. PS maybe it is my climate, I really don't see much if any change in my coins being stored in wood cabinets. I realize that over a long period of time that it will happen. Also, over a long period of time the coin is going to tone anyways. It's the nature of metal.
