So you think a little bit like I do. I think resubmitting in the holder is going to instill negative bias into the grading process. At least that's what I'm afraid of. It's a little bit of rolling the dice because of losing the vintage slab by cracking out.
If I had the coin in hand I could make a suggestion - but if you see any wear at all then 58 would be the best you could get. ME - I would submit in the slab and say minimum grade 58. But be prepared for them to maybe reject the change. And honestly I thought from your original posts you implied it was a 53. I still think it is at least a 58.
Me either. But a minimum of 2 full grades upgrade is worth reholdering in $$ value. If it slides to MS at all, it's a crazy amount percentage gain wise. I may try the resubmission in the holder route first, and if that doesn't work, crack it out and send it again later. The value of potential upgrade is worth the additional grade fee.
There has got to be hairlines, or wear that is missing from the photos. Let us know when you have it in hand.
I wonder if it was net graded. It may have been lightly cleaned but not enough that the graders wanted it in a details holder. Obverse looks a bit flat. I think this is another case of a seller showing it in its best light.
