What's Your Coin Wishlist For The Next 12 Months ?

They will be sold directly by the US Mint. We still don't have the information about the mintage or price. It appears the limit will be one per person.

The 1/10 oz proof Gold Eagle was $605 (currently unavailable) so I'm thinking the Buffalo will be around the same price (maybe more but hopefully not above $650).

If they sell out quickly, then I can see them reaching $1k in the secondary market. The 2008 goes for about $900-$1k on average.

Good Luck to you and anybody else trying to get one at a good price....maybe I'll get one in a few years, for now, I need all my $$$ at those 3 targets I listed in the OP.

 

I'm hoping the Mint looks at how many people want the 1/10 oz buffalo and actually make it an annual thing. I can understand why they didn't make any in 2009 but not why they didn't make any since. I'd love to grab the 2026 one if possible.

Other goals:
Would love to finish the Dansco 7070 finally and the last one I need to finish it is a Seated Liberty dollar with motto. I'd want one of these in at least XF.

Am close to finishing the Lincoln cents album, only needing 3 more to finish it, but of course they're the big ones: 1909-S VDB, 1914-D, and 1922 plain. Would love to get at least one of these in the next year maybe.

Less lofty goal and definitely doable: I'm pretty close to finishing Roosevelt dimes, just need a handful of the silver ones. These aren't hard to find and not too expensive, even at the current price of silver. Whenever I'm in the mood to stop by a coin store or coin show I try to pick up a few. This wouldn't be too difficult to finish within the year.

And will still coin roll hunt quarters from time to time; would love to find the rest of the W's I need (have 4 so far: Idaho, Kansas, American Samoa, and Vermont).

 

I wanted to get 1876 CC coin next year but Heritage had an auction the other night with all CC minted coins. I won this 1876 CC 50c, nice circulated cameo.
Now the other thing on my list is 1/10th Buffalo.

 

I don't really have a wish list nor any deadline, but the coins I regularly look at on GC and Heritage are:
Barber dimes 1899-1905 for hub transition varieties.
1900 quarters for hub transition varieties - just won my last type pair for 1900-P but haven't received it yet, so 12 month goal accomplished!
1900-O half dollars, looking to finish a set of (you guessed it) hub transition variety die pairs - there are 1/1, 1/2, 2/1, 2/2. Already have 1/2 and 2/2. 2/1 is pretty rare.
1909 Liberty Head nickels - a proof example of the "broken beer belly B."

My heirs will be like, what was this weirdo up to?
